Zhang Zilin Presents Swarovski’s Watch Collection 2010

Swarovski continues to explore the infinite possibilities of crystal as it ventures into the field of watchmaking in 2009. The watch collection, is a perfect fusion between Swarovski know how and the Swiss watchmaking expertise. The watches new design became a favourite among fashion-conscious women worldwide soon after their sparkling appearance at the Baselworld watch and jewellery show in March 2009. With a breathtaking presentation by Zhang Zilin, the first Chinese “Miss World”, the Swarovski watch collection shines brilliantly on the Greater China market.

As brand ambassador of the Swarovski watch collection in the Greater China region, Zhang Zilin personally presented Swarovski timepieces, in addition to appearing in the advertising campaign for the collection. At a promotional event for the Swarovski watch collection in Hong Kong, she shared her insights into fashion with guests from the Greater China region: “Women in modern China are versatile and live colourful lives. Feminine charm is accentuated by elegant and unique timepieces. Swarovski watches are superb in both appearance and functionality, and when adeptly combined with pure, multifaceted crystal, they integrate style and imagination into the lives of urban women and can justifiably be considered as masterpieces of modern fashion.” Says Zhang Zilin.

Swarovski commissioned the a creative team to produce the advertising campaign for the new watch collection. William Chang and Wing Shya worked closely with Zhang Zilin to present the enchanting charm of the Swarovski Autumn/ Winter watch collection.

The new Swarovski watch collection combines precise movements with exquisite faceting, and adds luxury and charm to urban women, giving them versatile styles and appearances. The new campaign featuring brand ambassador Zhang Zilin showcases Swarovski watches of various styles, each of which are a perfect marriage of precision, perfection and creation.

Recently, she made a special trip to Hong Kong to shoot a new series of promotional photos of a summer color, brand creative director Nathalie Colin and photographer Wing Shya filmed for her.



Swarovski hoped that through her wonderful interpretation, so that in 2010 the new watches will shine in the Greater China market.
